An Early Easter Surprise!

Our Easter Bunny made a surprise Thursday night visit since we will be out of town for Easter visiting family. The girls were so surprised to hear the doorbell ring and to see the Easter Bunny's footsteps! (Thank you Dollar Tree for the "bunny footprints") Funny enough, the footprints got blown into our neighbor's yard since I was lazy and did not get them up. However it worked out great for our neighbor's kids. They went on a "hunt" to find all the footprints and were so excited to see evidence of the Easter bunny!! (and I did not have to pick them up!!) The Easter Bunny also left a note saying he "Hopped Over" early!! I personally like having the Easter Bunny visit early. Sunday morning is already hectic with three girls trying to get everyone ready for church. This way the girls get to enjoy their Easter basket goodies. And most importantly, the Easter bunny gets his own "time to shine", and his visit does not cast a shadow on the true meaning of Easter.
